How to File a Claim

A claim may be filed if your package has been lost or damaged.

  • Damaged product and packaging (including all inner packaging) must be retained until the claim investigation has been completed.
  • Damage claims must be reported and filed within 60 days of the delivery date.
  • Lost package claims must be filed within 180 days of the package shipping date.
  • A Claim File can only be registered if you have a trace number starting with the letter T followed by 7 numbers, and you have been advised by the Trace Agent to file a claim.

To further assist us with processing your claim, kindly submit the following required documents:
  • Invoice or letter stating cost price for product
  • Copy of original Pick-Up Record or manifest
  • Copy of original invoice for goods (or copy of price list indicating costs)
  • Repair cost (if claim is for repair)
  • If you do not have an account number, the name and address of the Agency or Depot who accepted the shipment
  • Any other relevant supporting documents
Please note:
  • Accepted types: pdf, xls, xlsx, txt, csv, jpg, jpeg, png, mp4, mov, zip (Maximum 6 files)
  • File size must be less that 5MB
  • Additional files can be sent to claims@canpar.com. Please ensure to note your tracking number in the subject line.
